Kit Digital is a public aid programme, which aims to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions available on the market in order to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity.

On 24 November 2021, it was presented by the first vice-president and minister for Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, to boost the digitalisation of SMEs and the self-employed, and which will help modernise the Spanish productive fabric.

The programme has a budget of 3,067 million euros, from the European Union's Next Generation funds. It is part of the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and will consist of different calls for proposals aimed at different segments of SMEs and the self-employed.

Who can benefit from the Kit Digital?

The businesses that can benefit from the digital kit have been segmented into 3 different groups, both in terms of the call for applications and the amount of aid:

The amounts to be received for the digitalization of SMEs and freelancers through the Digital Kit vary depending on the company segment and the type of technological solution to which we refer.

How to use the Kit Digital?

If the steps indicated above have been completed, we will already have the value of the voucher that corresponds to us, which we can use to choose one or more solutions.

From this point on, the procedures are simple:

• We have signed an agreement for the provision of digitization solutions,
• implementation of the requirements pertaining to each phase of the digitization solution by the Digitization Agent,
• issuance by the Digitizing Agent of a single invoice after the first phase of service provision, with the total amount (for the 12 months of service provision) and indicating the amount of the subsidy.,
• payment of ineligible expenses by the beneficiary company (VAT, which can then be deducted) and assignment of the right to collect the eligible amount in favor of the Digitizing Agent,
• provision of the solution by the Digitizing Agent for a period of 12 months from the start of implementation.
