What is Kit Digital?
Kit Digital is a public aid programme, which aims to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions available on the market in order to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity.
On 24 November 2021, it was presented by the first vice-president and minister for Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, to boost the digitalisation of SMEs and the self-employed, and which will help modernise the Spanish productive fabric.

The programme has a budget of 3,067 million euros, from the European Union's Next Generation funds. It is part of the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and will consist of different calls for proposals aimed at different segments of SMEs and the self-employed.
Who can benefit from the Kit Digital?
The businesses that can benefit from the digital kit have been segmented into 3 different groups, both in terms of the call for applications and the amount of aid:
- Segment I: Small businesses, from 10 to 49 employees, estimated at around 150,000 in Spain, with a maximum amount of the digital bonus per company of €12,000.
- Segment II: Small or micro-enterprises, with 3 to 9 employees, estimated at 1,100,000 in Spain, with a maximum amount of the digital voucher per company of €6,000.
- Segment III: Small or micro enterprises and self-employed, 1 to 2 employees, estimated at 1,600,000 in Spain, with a maximum amount of the digital voucher of €2,000.
Categories of digital solutions
The grants are divided into different categories of digital solutions, so that it is easy to choose between them:
Website and Internet presence
We offer both the creation of web pages, as well as other SEO services and visibility of the company on the main internet sites.
E-commerce
creation of an e-commerce or online shop for the purchase and sale of products and/or services using digital media for their exchange..
Management of social networks
promotion of the SME on social networks.
Customer and/or supplier management
digitalisation and optimisation of customer relationship management (CRM).
I.B. and analytics
exploitation of company data to improve the decision-making process.
Virtual office services
implementation of interactive and functional solutions that enable the most efficient collaboration between the SME's employees.
Process management
digitalisation and/or automation of business processes related to the operational or productive aspects of the SME (ERP).
Electronic invoicing
digitalisation of the invoice issuing flow between the SME and its customers, by means of invoicing software.
Secure communications
adds security to the connections between the company and its employees' devices.
Cybersecurity
provides SMEs with basic and advanced security for their employees' devices.
Eligibility requirements and conditions
A number of conditions have been established in order to be eligible for the digital kit grant:
- Be a small business, a micro-business or a self-employed person.
- You are not considered to be a company in difficulty.
- Be up to date with all tax and social security payments.
- Not be subject to any of the prohibitions set out in the General Law on Subsidies.
- Be registered in the Census of business people, professionals and withholders of the State Tax Administration Agency or in the equivalent census of the Regional Tax Administration.
- Not be subject to a pending recovery order following a previous decision by the European Commission.
- Not exceed the de minimis aid limit (€200,000).
- Have the Digital Maturity Level assessment in accordance with the diagnostic test on the Acelera pyme (test de madurez digital).
How to apply for the Kit Digital?

If you meet the requirements mentioned above, the next step is to register in Acelera pyme to access the private area. Once you have done this, you will be able to take the test indicated at the end of the previous point to measure the level of digital maturity of your company.terior para medir el nivel de madurez digital de tu empresa.
The next step is to register and fill in the data, with the help of a digital certificate, at red.es,

If we have completed the steps indicated, we will already have the value of the voucher that corresponds to us, which we can use to choose one or more solutions.

What would be the amount to be received?
The amounts to be received for the digitalization of SMEs and freelancers through the Digital Kit vary depending on the company segment and the type of technological solution to which we refer.

How to use the Kit Digital?
If the steps indicated above have been completed, we will already have the value of the voucher that corresponds to us, which we can use to choose one or more solutions.

From this point on, the procedures are simple:
- We have signed an agreement for the provision of digitization solutions,
- implementation of the requirements pertaining to each phase of the digitization solution by the Digitization Agent,
- issuance by the Digitizing Agent of a single invoice after the first phase of service provision, with the total amount (for the 12 months of service provision) and indicating the amount of the subsidy.,
- payment of ineligible expenses by the beneficiary company (VAT, which can then be deducted) and assignment of the right to collect the eligible amount in favor of the Digitizing Agent,
- provision of the solution by the Digitizing Agent for a period of 12 months from the start of implementation.
